Information/Bio:
Diverse singer/songwriter Anthea Sidiropoulos has enjoyed much success with the Boite since the launch of her Greek folk Cd 'Full Circle' in 2002. A woman with a passion for social justice and women's issues Anthea's work has taken her on many musical journey's from the Millenium Chorus to Arnold Zable's The Fig Tree Cd and concerts nationally at major festivals and events such as Canberra's National Folk Festival, Tassie's Cygnet Festival, Sydney Festival, Antipodes Festival, Moomba, Australia Day, Diversity Day, International Womens Day events and more. In August 2007 she was awarded Ambassador of Peace which also took her to Cyprus for the United Nations Festival. Anthea continues to work in many festivals for 2009 including the Daylesford Singers Festival where she teams up with historical dance teacher Olga Black to bring audiences a taste of Grecian "OPA!" to take home with them.
