Information/Bio:
Klezmania are an exciting stage band with a strong following, appealing to all ages. Their songs are full of passion, longing and celebration.

Klezmania are Freydi Mrocki - vocals, percussion, David Krycer -, guitar, vocals, harmonica, Eugene Belenko – double bass and Lionel Mrocki - clarinet, soprano sax, guitar, didgeridoo, vocals.

Pioneers in the resurgence of traditional klezmer in Australia, Klezmania preserve the cultural heritage and further its development. They not only reintroduced klezmer music into Jewish celebrations but established it as a popular art form to the general Australian public. They go to retirement homes and music archives to collect old unknown songs, transcribe the old masters from 78rpm recordings and compose their own songs and tunes. They play klezmer all over metropolitan, regional Victoria and interstate.

Past performances: National Folk Festival, Port Fairy Folk Festival, Parliament of World Religions 2009, Boite World Music Cafe, private events, public parties! etc etc
