Information/Bio:
Gary Whelan is an acoustic performer based in the Central Goldfields Region of Victoria who is currently persuing his passion for writing and performing acoustic instrumental music.

Having worked in many bands over the years including session work and support work mainly as a bass player, interacting with a diverse range of musicians and musical genre he now enjoys being a solo acoustic artist. Gary uses various alternate tunings with little or no sound effects to create a pallet of sound.

Inspired by anything, everything, past, present and what will be, Gary is constantly creating new material.

eASNAdh his current album reflects this. eASNAdh (pronounced AS-NA) literally means in Gaelic "musical sounds"

Instruments used are Line6 Variax 700 acoustic & Cole Clark Fat Lady 2, Fender Acoustasonic Amps and D'Addario EXP Strings.
