Your encouragement and support tells us that our work is relevant and appreciated. The Boite network of members is a source of information, expertise and creativity we draw upon when planning events. Member's subscriptions offer significant financial support for our projects.

All members are entitled to purchase a Boite Member's Gold Cafe pass for their own use.
Available to members only, this pass entitles members to half price tickets to 8 events at the Boite World Music Cafe at North Fitzroy or Box Hill (Does not include BMW Edge or Surrey Cafe events).

The Boite has always supported artists by offering hundreds of professional performance opportunities each year and even more promotional opportunities. This, together with the 26 years of experience developing, presenting and promoting festivals, events, radio programs and CDs means we probably have a lot in common.
Performers can advertise their own events with the Boite for half price. Many acoustic, traditional, world music, vocal artists and groups, including international stars such as John Williams, Paco Pena and Sweet Honey in the Rock have found our advertising extremely effective over the many years. We would highly recommend that Performers sign up to the Boite as an individual/couple/family to take advantage of the following benefits.

Performers - Limited Membership
The Boite requires that all artists performing in Boite events be covered for public liability. Our limited membership is available to those artists who do not have public liability insurance. The only benefit of this membership is insurance coverage - to take advantage of advertising discounts, artists must take out a full membership.

As a member, your organisation will become part of an important network of support, information, cross-promotion and friendship.
With 26 years of expertise, we can offer advice, information and help to source excellent musicians for your events.
Our publicity has proven extremely effective for some advertisers. We'd like to see it work for you too. The substantial member's discount on advertising will easily pay for the membership cost.

Why advertising through the Boite works.
The Boite has a mailing list of 12,000, many of whom are active participants in Boite events. We select and mail to 3000 of these music lovers approximately once a month. Our electronic news is emailed out fortnightly, to over 1,000 people who have requested to receive the newsletter. If it's something that our audience is interested in, it's worth advertising with us.
