About the Event
Suzette Herft, is a troubadour and award winning singer-songwriter from the folk/Americana/country traditions. With standing ovations at recent Port Fairy Folk Festivals, Suzette writes meaningful music and lyrics to lift the soul. This is a rare and excellent opportunity to catch her at the Open Studio.
Soulful songstress and weaver of magic with her heart moving original songs of resilience and triumph mixed with some joyful classics. Described as the 'Australian Joan Baez', Suzette is known for her beautiful voice and graceful stage presence. She has won many accolades for her tribute shows to Joan Baez, Emmylou Harris and Linda Ronstadt. Suzette is a masterful facilitator of singing sessions and a songwriting tutor. She has released 6 albums and is currently working on her 7th album.
